Based in the heart of Bowness on Windermere, Virginia Cottage Guesthouse is the ideal place to stay for your holiday. Next door to a dog friendly pub and literally 90 places to eat and drink within a 10 minute walk. Husband and wife owned business who have been in hospitality for many years and we offer a customer experience second to none.
We are an 11 bedroom Guest House offering room only or breakfast stays. Adult only and dog friendly, we offer a comfortable stay for quieter couples and singles who prefer a more adult environment without the hustle and bustle of the younger partygoers.
We love dogs and our reviews clearly show we go beyond to ensure they have a comfortable stay as well as you. We even allow dogs down to breakfast for those that choose it and offer them sausages if they are allowed. We even cooked poached eggs for a dog that couldn’t have sausages, we don’t mind.
We are only a 5 minute walk from the main car park which currently boasts a fee of only £21 for 3 days and roughly £40 for a weeks parking. Less than what you would pay for 2 days in most cities.
We can book restaurants for you and give advice on most pubs in the area plus as a keen walker, we can share many experiences of walks for you to enjoy.
